Hey there 👋 welcome to my personal website!

I'm Syaiful Nur Hakam, a second-year Japanese Literature student at Brawijaya University who loves to learn and explore new things. I write my life update on the now page every once in a while, you can see a glimpse of what I'm currently up to in there.

As I continue on this journey, I like to share my thoughts and experiences on my personal website, which I like to think of as my digital garden. It's a space where I can drop my drafts, notes, and articles about the things that interest me the most, including foreign language learning (especially English and Japanese), culture, philosophy, writing, web development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Node), and society in general.

One thing that I find particularly interesting is the idea of a blog without a publish button. This means that I can write entries that aren't necessarily complete thoughts and leave them open for editing or adding to later on. In this way, each entry becomes a living being that captures how my thoughts are evolving over time.

When it comes to foreign languages, I am particularly interested in English and Japanese. I am always looking for new ways to improve my language skills, whether it's through reading, writing, listening, or speaking. I believe that learning a foreign language can not only help us communicate with people from different cultures but also broaden our perspectives and understanding of the world.

Philosophy is another area that fascinates me. I enjoy contemplating the big questions, such as the meaning of life, the nature of reality, and the purpose of human existence. It's a never-ending journey of self-discovery and enlightenment that I find incredibly rewarding.

If you'd like to get in touch with me, email are your best channels. You can also DM me on Instagram. Please feel free to share and let me know if you enjoy reading my articles. I would love to hear your feedback and thoughts.
